I have spent almost twenty years working with Women’s Ministries (WM) in several states
and have loved every single minute of it! There is something special about creating
opportunities for women to build relationships with each other and with the Lord.
From 2001-2008 I worked with Jennifer Rothschild and edited her weekly newsletter and
womensministry.net website. I was blessed to be part of a team that was as passionate
about supporting and ministering to women as I am. The Lord opened other doors and I
now spend time consulting on a broader basis, but still working with women and churches
interested in developing and enriching their WM. I also speak at events and have started
doing some writing. Not exactly the place I thought I would end up, but then God’s plans
are always better than
ours!
The heart of Women's Ministry is simply - women reaching women. Titus 2:3-5 tells us
that women should be teaching other women about all areas of their lives. One of the
best places this can happen is in a local church. Whether you are a small church or a
mega church, the heart of your ministry is the same; the difference will be in the tools you
use to accomplish you goals. This page is here to provide you with the tools you need to
build an effective WM.
I believe that women are called by God to minister to other women. A WM can provide
content that will help women have a more intimate relationship with Jesus Christ and
teach them to share what He has done in their life. It is all about reproduction - receiving,
learning, growing, sharing and serving. Being a disciple and teaching others to be one
also.
I am passionate about sharing what I have learned with other leaders and have spent
many hours brainstorming and passing on information to WM leaders through
consultations, emails, an newsletters. On this page are links to downloadable documents
for you to use. You are welcome to make copies and distribute them; I only ask that you
leave my contact information on them. Thank you… and enjoy!
